We support many organizations on Nantucket and went the extra step with the “Canine Couture Fashion Show” to benefit the Nantucket Safe Harbor for Animals last week. NSHA is the island’s shelter and has placed over 300 unwanted animals in the past 10 years. It is an extraordinary organization and we honor them for their work.

She won 1st place and tied for Audience Favorite with an amazing duo of mermaids (person and dog). Here she is wearing breakfast and looking askance at her vet Dr. Paula:
