The Nantucket Shorts Festival is coming up on Sunday, October 8th, 2023 at 5:00 PM at the Dreamland, Main Theater. There will be 9 short films that range from 2-10 minutes in length shown. Some are by first time film makers, others by those with some experience under their belts. The common theme is that the films are Nantucket-centric – about, or filmed on, Nantucket. Films include documentary shorts, narratives and comedy. Sponsored by Nantucket Community Television (NCTV), this community event sells out every year. Immediately following the screenings, the audience gets to vote on two awards – one for best first time film maker and the other for Audience Favorite. Tickets are going fast!
