Thank you from the Nantucket Association of Real Estate Brokers to Lisa Sherburne, Mary O’Donnell and Yesenia Valer-Perez (all of Atlantic East) for their help yesterday at the 16th Habitat home on Nantucket. A group of 11 volunteers (all women, save one volunteer – girl power!) spent the afternoon painting the first floor of a duplex. Thanks also to Great Point Properties and Congdon & Coleman who had a good turn-out as well.
It was a gratifying way to spend a few hours on a March afternoon and it helped the owner in a meaningful way towards his time commitment to Habitat. He and his children are planning to move in next week!
