The Town has numerous openings on various boards and commissions, many of which are filled by appointment by the Nantucket Board of Selectmen. This means you do not have to run a campaign!
Penny Dey was recently appointed by the BOS to serve a 3 year term on the Real Estate Assessment Committee and a one year term on the Town Government Study Committee. She is firm believer that, especially in a small community, each of us can make a difference.
