It is very quiet on Nantucket right now because it is school vacation week and many islanders are away traveling. We have recently noticed some signs of spring which is heartening. We saw some of the first snowdrops popping up in a sheltered, south-facing yard in Town last week. Daffodil shoots are poking up around the island and the sun actually has some warmth to it again. Best of all, Daylight Savings Time is less than 10 days away! Enjoy what remains of the winter.
