Last weekend, 32 teams of volunteers fanned across the island to pick up trash for two days. The staggering haul was 8 TONS of trash and garbage, including 1 refrigerator,1 air conditioner, 7 boats, a campsite (?!?), two engines with parts, a wooden armoire and a fake Christmas tree. Atlantic East was happy to sponsor of the event and two of our agents were on a team that worked on the Land Bank property behind Bartlett’s Farm to the ocean.
