Soo Woodley is a veteran sales associate in Nantucket real estate. After many years on the island she feels a great connection with the community.
Soo moved to the island from North Carolina as a young adult and worked in a variety of fields where she met many people who remain friends to this day. Through a series of serendipitous events she came to work for long-time island broker, Hammie Heard with whom she worked until his retirement.
Soo’s family is the most important part of her life. She and her husband, Ernie Oliver are raising their daughter, Rebecca. Soo is also caregiver to her mother. Which as Rebecca puts it is ‘a wonderful opportunity to have three generations of women under one roof’.
Among other things, Soo served with the Friends of the Nantucket Public Schools where she co-chaired the Spelling Bee. She is active in fund raising for the Nantucket High School French Club. But her main focus is being involved in many aspects of St. Mary’s Church. She enjoys working with the two youth groups at St. Mary’s and spending time with the remarkable young people on our island.
