When we told our agents that we were underwriting the NHA’s Festival of Trees this year, they decided to decorate a tree for the first time! We had a lot of fun planning and executing our ideas for our tree. This is what it was called:
We had a sleigh with all of us in it (ears to our mobile phones):
The sleigh was being pulled by 5 blue whales, whale-deer or rein-whales?
And trailing behind the sleigh were 32 presents, each with a quarterboard in it with every silly question that we have had in 30 years of doing rentals. Things such as, “What time does the noon boat leave?”, “I locked myself in the bathroom.” and “I am so excited the house comes with a lobster pot, how do I get to it?”.
We would like to share with you an e-mail we received from a visitor to the Festival of Trees:
Dear Atlantic East Nantucket Real Estate Office,
I want to let you know how very much I enjoyed your tree at the Festival of Trees celebration. While there certainly were some very beautiful trees, yours was the one that gave me the most joy and I must say, many laughs too!! I have three rental properties on the island and have heard most everyone of the quotes on the tree!! It really was quite clever and I thank you for providing such entertainment for my husband and myself. Happy holidays to the entire office.
The exhibit is up until December 31st – try to stop in to see the trees – there are many, many creative people on this island.
