The construction of the bike path extension on Cliff Road appears to be well under way. The new path runs on the north side of Cliff Road from Crooked Lane to Sherburne Turnpike and is expected to be done by July 2011. The bike path is being paid for by state and federal funding through the Nantucket Planning & Economic Development Commission transportation plan.
