Cape Wind Project Approved for Nantucket Sound

The Secretary of the Interior announced in Boston yesterday that the Cape Wind project in Nantucket Sound has been conditionally approved and that the Cape and Islands should see some energy from the project by 2012. Cape Wind has been in the permitting project for nine years and seeks to build 130 wind turbines in Nantucket Sound a few miles off of Cape Cod.
