The economic downturn in the last few years made for an interesting 2009 rental season. There were many last minute bookings and lots of negotiating. This year looks like we may be getting back on track with several of our rental properties already booked for the 2010 season. Summer is a busy time on the island so it is always best to plan as far in advance as possible. The Steamship Authority will start to take auto reservations for the summer in the middle of January. It is always easier to get boat reservations on a Friday or a Sunday and August is the busiest time here so plan accordingly.
