The Christmas Stroll weekend kicked off last evening with the Festival of Trees party t benefit the Nantucket Historical Association. There is a full slate of events for the next three days! Consider going on the Holiday House Tour this evening (to benefit the Friends of Nantucket Public Schools). It looks like the weather is good today and not too cold for a little standing in line with some cocoa. A ticket to the tour includes free admission tonight to the Festival of Trees at the Nantucket Whaling Museum.
There is a bounty of activities for every age group: there are three craft fair markets, most of which showcase local vendors. There are lots of yummy dining options (the Sheriff’s sausage hero for one), workshops, theater, music and arts events galore. Santa arrives by Coast Guard cutter at 12:45 on Saturday.
