The warrant is now closed for Citizen’s Articles for our Annual Town Meeting, scheduled for April. The 32 Citizen’s Articles include an article seeking funding for a feasibility study for a bike path along the east side of Tom Nevers Road, an article for a study to develop an island-wide mosquito control program, numerous re-zoning articles, a zoning article to regulate parking structures, amendments to the sewer districts, an article to appropriate non-aviation revenue to the Town general fund instead of the Airport Enterprise Fund, an article to re-establish the Council for Human Services, an article amending the Historic District Commission Act, an article empowering the Board of Selectmen to decide whether or not anti-erosion projects can use Town owned land, an article to reallocate the cost of new sewer connections, and numerous road takings.
