Lauren and Sloan Strickler live in Newburyport, MA and are seniors at Pingree School in South Hamilton, MA. For their Senior Independent Project, they will be interning with us and learning the ins and outs of the real estate business. It is their first time on the island, and they are both excited and eager to be a part of Atlantic East Nantucket Real Estate for the next two weeks! Both have a love for real estate, architecture and interior design and are enthusiastic to use their creative and analytical strengths to contribute to this amazing firm. On their first day, they visited an open house of a convenant residential home, which is one of the lowest prices on the island. Following, they attended an Affordable Housing Luncheon along with multiple local organizations. Throughout the meeting, they learned about some of the issues of the island, the most prominent being affordable housing. Both Lauren and Sloan are looking forward to the days ahead!
