The beaches on Nantucket will be open this summer with safety restrictions. Folks need to strictly observe social distancing of at least 12 feet apart from non-household members. Cars on the beach must be a minimum of 15 feet apart. There will be no group activities like volleyball or football at the beach and, at this time, no gatherings are permitted of more than 10 people. Masks/face coverings are required if social distancing is not possible. The Town is counting on people to educate themselves and take personal responsibility to protect the community from the further spread of COVID-19. Thank you.
