The Town has applied for a $1 million dollar grant from the State to assist homeowners with the cost of design and installation of new septic systems that have failed. The Town has received approval of the funding and should receive the application paperwork in mid-August. Homeowners can apply for this funding and the expense will be added to their real estate tax bill amortized over 20 years at 2% interest.
