John F. Trudel III Sales Associate, SFR
John set foot on the island in the summer of 1989 and knew right away, while rounding Brant Point on the slow boat, Nantucket was the place he wanted to call home. John and his wife Susan have lived on the island full-time for almost twenty-three years, raising two wonderful young men, Jack (age 22) and Zander (age 17), both born at the Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
John has been actively involved in the community, coaching youths in baseball, soccer basketball and lacrosse. He has held positions on various boards including the Nantucket Little League (4 years), Nantucket Student Lacrosse (5 years, President for 3 years), Nantucket Platform Tennis Association (2 years, President for 1 year), and Nantucket Student Soccer (3 years). John is presently serving on the Nantucket Planning Board. He had served as an alternate for one year, before being elected to the Board for a 5 year term this spring.
John has owned and operated a variety of businesses, from a trucking company in New Jersey, a frozen yogurt shop in downtown Nantucket, and a convenience store out of town on Nantucket. Presently, John and his wife Susan own and operate TPM, Inc., a building construction and property management company.
John’s skill and experience as a contractor, property manager and real estate agent, allow him to help individual buyers and sellers see a property for its current strengths and values, but also for its hidden potential.
Let John share his enthusiasm, knowledge and love for the island with you, whether you are buying, selling or renting a property on our island we call home.
