
Our own Mary D. Malavase is co-chair of the Annual Daffodil Show and was instrumental in raising the funds to plant 50,000 new daffodil bulbs last fall to celebrate the 50th annual Daffodil Festival. The Nantucket Daffodil Festival will be held April 24–26, 2026, celebrating spring with over 3 million blooming flowers and themed “Traditions in Bloom”. The weekend features a popular Antique Car Parade to ‘Sconset, a Tailgate Picnic, the Daffodil Hat Pageant, and the Daffodil Dog Parade.
Key 2026 Festival Highlights & Schedule
- 50th Annual Celebration: The milestone event, “Daffy 50,” takes place April 23-26, 2026, with core events over the weekend.
- Saturday, April 25 (2-5) and Sunday, April 26 (10-3): The Nantucket Garden Club’s Annual Daffodil Show being held at a new location at the Nantucket Inn. Free to the public.
- Saturday, April 25: The 47th Annual Antique Car Parade departs from Main Street at 12:00 PM (lineup starts earlier), leading into the Tailgate Picnic in ‘Sconset.
